Oh, hey. Hey there, Gigondas has my heart. Oodles of red fruit and earth funk. Gonna let it sit in my glass a wee bit and more notes. In the meantime--cooked strawberries and pepper, maybe some cloves or allspice? Medium body, medium acidity, medium-high tannins. Maybe a mushroom or wet leaves at the end. not that I have consumed wet leaves, but the smell...in other news my list of things to smell and taste is ever growing. Work. To do.

Apr 7th, 2018Excellent Rhone blend of 80% Grenache and 20% Syrah. Lots of dark fruit, spice and smoke. Lingering beautiful finish. Really nice wine.
