Pretty bland wine with medium to high acidity. Low to medium tannin with some earthy scent. Very little fruit flavor.

Had this with a wonderful passata meat sauce and papardelle pasta. The wine was a Merlot Sangiovese blend from the Umbria area. Purchased in Orvieto.
