Montiano hasn't evolved much since Parker's blessing of the supertuscan approach in the mid '90s, applied here in Lazio. It worked well up to 2001 or so., but now seems "old". The wine feels too full, and the fruit doesn't get to express itself well enough. Could do a lot better
