This is really singing. Deep tropical fruits balanced by its acidity and lengthy finish. Tells its story without being overdone in any way. There are hints of minerals in there as well.

The aromatics are a touch restrained. I may have chilled it a little too much. However, the wine emerges and shines. After a while, delicate lemons, limes, green apples and flint stone present.
On the palette, the wine has volume and weight. Subtle yet powerful, with notes of brioche, lemon rind, and prominent minerality. The finish is bright and vigorous. With eyes closed, I would have tagged this as a burg. I love the lack of exuberance, which is replaced with class and finesse.
Can't thank
@David A Lentine and Kristen enough for offering this stunning example - at home in logistic regression hell!

Nicely balanced Napa Chardonnay. Tropical fruits, balanced oak. Smooth enjoyable finish. I get a hint of clove on the nose.
