2022 vintage. Tough sell. The Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper selfsame vintage version nutty flavor wise and 2.5x pricier. It was good and comparably rated but this ridiculously slays for the price/QPR. $33.10 a bottle resto cost down from $80 on six 6pks/3 cases. Medium-heavy bod. Voluptuous. Giving. The tariffs, supposed lack of drinking with the younguns, 2017 + 2020 fires, generally not sexy 2022 vintage and massive 2023 vintage all conspiring to make this phenomenal effort ridiculously affordable. In a normal year, this would/should retail RETAIL around $80. This is less than half that. Excellent time to be a buyer. Super-smooth and packed with all the tricks of the trade. I couldn’t say no. Can you? Begods…this could be the ultimate, large party red. Sold. 9.16.25
