Eenzaamheid Shiraz

Cool name. Means loneliness in Dutch. Fresh fig, wild blackberries, bramble, black tea.

See prior notes. I think this is just on the other side of peak, still drinking beautifully.

Can be hard to find with any age on them in Charleston, especially Syrah so I jumped on this. Forceful smokey dusty earth notes with herb Berry flavors highlighted by a lingering wild/rustic quality you seem to find in good South African wine. Lovely integration of tannin and acidity. In a great place and drinking beautifully.

Shiraz not Chenin. Rich and wonderful, every bit as spicy as we were after so many bottles

Deep and rich flavour. Dark berries and black currant! Absolutely wonderful

This is the first wine I purchased as a result of a tasting at the vineyard. It is as juicy as I remember it--currant and jammy.
