Failla
Seven Springs Vineyard Pinot Noir
Pretty, brambly and tart, yet ripe. So pure. Firing on all cylinders. A touch of clove, herbs and roast chicory only serve to highlight the pure red fruit.

Feb 13th, 2022Wakes up quickly with air. Initial notes and 91 pt score after 15m in a Burgundy glass. Damp earth, high toned red fruits. Acid lifts the palette of an otherwise “sweet” and candied style. A bit simple overall. Following an hour open this gained at least a couple points. The complexity and finish gained significant depth. I wish I could compare this to Evening Land’s version of this Pinot.
