Deep, dark purple- almost black. Rich berry, with some spice and anise; heavy tannins- decanting helped, but would be better in a few years. Hard to dislike, unless you are one of those close- minded wine snobs who reflexively hate South American malbecs..

This wine was a bit of a fruitbomb — tons of blueberry and what seemed to be a small touch of cocoa after having sat out for a few hours. Very round, a great mouthfeel, and a perfect amount of sweetness without being overly so.
