Another reminder why Patagonia wines are worth seeking out.A higher toned Malbec & sleeker- as if all the notes are moved up a notch. A player in a dinner w friends: Pasta E Fagioli w Radicchio, Spinach torte w raisins & nutmeg, Braised beef w white wine, & almond/ ricotta torte.

Oct 17th, 2021This is quite a wine for the price. Had it at home to accompany a meal of slowly cooked lamb neck with smoked eel, seaweed and kohlrabi. Full round smokey wine, all dark red forrest fruit

Apr 18th, 20202007, Fabre Montmayou, Barrel Selection Malbec, Rio Negro Patagonia. I don't drink a lot of Malbecs. Showed a lot of berry fruit with a little earthiness and some oak flavors. Nothing that stands out enough to want to drink another bottle.
