This is quite a wine for the price. Had it at home to accompany a meal of slowly cooked lamb neck with smoked eel, seaweed and kohlrabi. Full round smokey wine, all dark red forrest fruit

2007, Fabre Montmayou, Barrel Selection Malbec, Rio Negro Patagonia. I don't drink a lot of Malbecs. Showed a lot of berry fruit with a little earthiness and some oak flavors. Nothing that stands out enough to want to drink another bottle.
