Think this might have been corked, but it’s such an unconventional wine that it was hard to tell. Initially it tasted like straight up apple cider vinegar, but it settled somewhat after an hour or so and opened up to some lively tart honeycrisp citrusy herb flavors. Might try another bottle, I dunno. An unpleasant start to the evening with our takeout hotel room dinner either way.

different than anything i’ve ever smelled. blue cheese + tart green apple + smells like creek rocks?! super dry, fairly tart. almost like drinking a saison.
