Artisan Vigneron You Fuck My Wine

Delicious, super quaffable, and fun. Juicy tart black cherry candy, fleshy red plum, violet petal, dried lavender and herbs, black tea. Silky smooth.

A slightly hazy purple with thin edges. Funk right out of the gate with fresh earth and raspberry on the nose, along with licorice and violets. 100% Jurançon Noir, a varietal I’m not at all familiar with but is slightly reminiscent of Malbec. You’ll taste a little alcohol but it’s not off putting at all. Very tannic and medium bodied, there’s a persistent streak of caramel throughout. On the palate, red apples and fresh cut grass are primary with more raspberries and strawberry jam. Don’t come here looking for complexity or a deep wine, this is purely about fun. And this indeed nothing but fun.

Even after deducting points for the name, this is a crisp, tart wine ideal as a chilled refreshing red option.

Almost opaque, jewel ruby color. Mulling spice, candied violet, fresh currant nose. Light and floral. Cassis, fresh pork sausage, star anise, blueberry mojito notes. Jurançon grape (relatively rare southwest grape). Ate with a lovely steak from Butcher in New Orleans.

Easy to drink natural red. Found at a Dopolavoro wine tasting. Clean tasting with a plummy undercurrent. Not heavy.

Love the Label, like the wine

Not a fan of this guy. A lot of funk but just not doing it for me. The aftertaste feels off.

Juicy, funky red that I am loving slightly chilled. Dark berries and plum come through. Easy finish and very chuggable.
