A lot of cedar eucalyptus and menthol anise on this one. Huge oak vat used. Interesting brunello.

Really light color for a brunello. Especially an 05. Tight. Some off flavors. ... ok opening up. Great internal aromatics. Cherry.

CVed 1/26/18. Second of three. Strong funk on nose literal barnyard manure but gradually blew off into iron earthy fall leaves with mature cherry notes. Palate balanced and lithe, long finish. Good recovery! Origin unknown. Must be early Gordon's. Note: even overnight the empty glass with a bit of wine still shows that earthy funk but in a poorest way. Terroir indeed! Opened 2/22/18. Wow so not at all prominent funk on the nose! If anything a bit reticent. Cork in perfect shape. Wonder why. Great balance on package and long finish. Perfect pairing with pasta red sauce eggplant. Yum. Upping score by one.

Танинное брунелло. Все неплохо, с вишней и горьким шоколадом, но насыщенности бывает и побольше.

So this was harvested over the 11 years ago so it's aged to it's perfection. Marvelous in it downright. It's my last bottle of 2004 so sad. Great licorice and coffee.

Delicious sangiovese, well aged, earthy smooth. The ratings are weird and don't give it justice

Might be a little little past its day. It's all savory but just a little shut down. Shame for the price.
