Harsh on the nose with blackberries, black plums, black currants, fake wood, barnyard and dark chocolates.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with plums, cherries, spices, light oak, coffee and peppercorn.

Short spicy finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

I remember enjoying this South African Cabernet Sauvignon around 10 years ago, but apparently my palate changed.

Fruit forward and easy drinking.
Simple and a little unbalanced.

Needs an hour to open up.

Feels like an entry level Old World Syrah. Interesting.

I paired it with baked Brie and French baguette.

100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were aged in French and American Oak barrels for 8 months.
