Terrific pale color for 6 1/2 yr old wine. Pear, citrus , essential oils combine with seamless texture, long finish. Would like more acidity but this is compelling CH nonetheless.

It’s rrrrrreal good y’all. I’m personally of the mindset that this is alongside the great dry Rieslings of the Mosel- searing acidity, petrol, rubber. But also a little herbaceous which makes it something else entirely. Doesn’t fucking matter, because it’s delicious....

About the vintage where I feel that EL really started to put it together with 7S Chardonnay. Great balance of richness and purity, weight and energy.

Starting with about this vintage, EL makes the consistently best Chard in the Willamette for my palate. Beautifully balanced, rich, and layered.

Beautiful mouthfeel, but the wine is angular and acidic.

Reduction, fresh-cut lemon, honeysuckle, sweet pastry like baklava and hints of cinnamon on the nose. Racy lemon pith and limeade greet the palate, unfolding into light orchid and vanilla bean, and finishing with saline and wet beach sand. An ethereal, enigmatic quality haunts this wine - lures you in every time!
