Sipping Fine Wine

Founded in 2005, Evening Land Vineyards makes Pinot’s from sites in California, Oregon and France. Aged for 16 months in French oak (30% new), beautiful red fruit aromas with tea and cola notes. On the palate blackberry and cherry flavors that start tart and move to sweet. Firm yet supple tannins on lingering finish. Very Nice!

Beautiful wine with perfect balance. Everything one would want in a Pinot Noir.

This is not the Sta. Rita but the Willamette Valley. Nice ripe cherries, strawberries, pomegranate juice, cola, red roses, thin on body and minerality. Some black earth and a long easy simple finish. Fresh and easy to drink.

I have been a longtime fan of Isabelle Meunier's wines. 2011, in General was a more difficult vintage, yet Meunier's Blue Label Pinot retains the elegance I have come to associate with her wines. Effortlessly focused with notes of raspberry, crushed stone and lavender. The core is red fruit, minerality and fine tannins. A wonderful effort in an otherwise challenging vintage.

Delectable, this is NOT from Sta Rita. But it is delicious cherry juice.
