Heirloom Carneros Pinot Noir

Held way too long but better than expected and showed juicy red fruit. Faded over time.

2002 alive and kicking. Beautiful

Used to work with these wines at La Toque but not this old. Brawny, dark and always firmly structured when young. Still on the serious side but showing round, maturing fruit

Made by the great tony soter this wine has a ton of spice on the nose velvety smooth texture and still quite fresh on the finish. Most excellent

perfectly good tart medium tobacco licorice notes body nice finish and tannin structure

Undeniably California fruit and style but balanced with a solid amount of tertiary aromas and flavors emerging behind a powerful red fruit and peppery bite
