Tasted blind, from two combined bottles. Medium-ish gold but doesn’t come across as old. Notes of apricot, lemon, tangerine and a little iodine. Fat and rich in the mouth. Luscious. Balanced with lots of fruit and ample acidity. Easy to pick the vintage. Guessed 92 Batard from a producer other than Leflaive. Has more energy and excitement than the 90 Niellon Batard next to it. At peak and a delight to drink.

Light to medium gold. Delicate fruit forward nose. Sweet lemon fruit matched against fine grained acidity. Notes of Meyer lemon, stones, soil and apricot. Like the others next to it this grew in power and acidity with more air. Was singing late into the evening. (Bday dinner 6/13)
