Very light as you'd expect from Beaujolais. Very smooth Cherry up front other than that not very remarkable.

I ordered a case of this from Laithwaites (where I regularly get a great 4 seasons case and lovely proseccos) and it has been very hit or miss. The bottle I had last week was delicious but the one I had tonight was so-so. So we shall see as the case goes on. Ordering this was kind of an experiment. Maybe this is how this very fresh style goes. Had a fantastic bottle of this recently. So I think I just got a corked bottle before.
