Nice ripe red fruit: cherries and strawberries with med+ acidity and silky tannins. A touch of that cream and spice that was on the nose shows on the finish.
Really good stuff. Well balanced and nice integration of oak. I'm glad that there are new world producers out there who are not afraid to make a 12.1% ABV wine these days.

Mar 21st, 2020Bit of barnyard on the nose. Besides that it’s pretty Pinot-esque. Flavor is earthy, biting and excellent. Crabapples and cranberry. Hint of ink and plenty of tannins for the backbone. Savory, dry and perfume-y. Nice color too.
