Served before the '04 Espectacle, this was a newborn colt, shy nose, mineral core but pure as the day is long. Clear, clean bright red berry fruit, touch of brine. So perfectly assembled but not yet all working together. This felt like it needed another 10 years, kind-of high-end Chateaneuf Grenache vibe. Garnacha.
