Tikal Patriota La Consulta Malbec - Bonarda Blend

I have had better Malbecs. A little too “acidic”.

Quite deep ruby . Dark plum , dark cherry fruits with a herbal element , rosemary , thyme. On the palate , ripe blackcurrant and dark cherry, slightly sweet attack , medium body , ok acidity , rounded tannins , balanced alcohol . Bit short on the finish . Ok but nothing special , was expecting a bit more . Drink now and over the next 3 -4 years.

Was not sure how I felt about it at first but as we got into it we enjoyed a ton with our steak

Fruity, dark, lots of stone, smooth finish. Very good, will be looking for it in the future.

Chocolate and raspberries with a bit of earth.

You know what. This Malbec blend .... Great.

Very drinkable

Delicious! Velvety and not sweet.

Jammy with good mouth feel.
