Pouilly-Fuissé Chardonnay

If every wine tells a story, this wine speaks of a warm sunny day. Spent frolicking in a grass meadow being cooled by gentle breezes while longingly staring at a bombshell blonde who deep down you believe is out of your league. Like the blonde, this is a well structured and complicated PF. Flavors of spiced oak, and green apples, with a crisp mineral backbone. Reminds me of fine Gruner Veltliner. #qprgem

Light and some lemon grass, pear, solid acid, smells sweet and beautiful, good chalk and olive

Green apple and such a great finish. Pair with Chinese food as I did tonight. Would go great with fresh raw oysters with horseradish and vinegar based sauce.

Beautiful balance. Full bodied for a white.

Tart & refreshing. Flower petals mixed with oak, butter & citrus. Green apple skin (Granny Smith) on the finish.

All I can say is "wow."

I think this Pouilly-Fuisse is delicious. It is clean and yummy. Not too fruity and not oaky at all. Love it! So glad to have found on @WTSO
