Block B Paso Robles Syrah

First time having this one, I’ll be buying more.

Drats I should have waited to open the 2014 Block B. Its July 2020 and discovered this wine is still in its infancy. Has tremendous potential w nose tannins mouthfeel taste to be a real superstar. Would recommend laying down for another 3-4 years.

Still too early to the party. Second time at this, still needs a few years. Oh has it changed in a year though. It’s massive. Deep nose of fruit, with silky tannins and deep black fruit on the palate. Olive and charcuterie. Round out this incredible expression of Syrah. Time will be kind but it’s limited

This is an absolute stunner. Everything I love about Paso Syrah. Just needs more time. This one is a baby! Still spectacular with charcoal ribeye and herb potatoes.

I love Epoch Estates. This was my first time trying this. I enjoyed it, but was hoping for more. It was really closed off but, what this can become , should be “Epoch”. Another 3-5 years of cellaring.

Fantastically young and aggressive. Needs another 5 years.
