Sicilia Nero d'Avola

Not bad, but a bit mild. Smooth for sure though, just not as bold as their other wines.

A little lighter in color than I remember. Not sure why we didn’t have this in our list before. Been getting these for years. Reliable.

Ruby red wine. Sour cherries and slight notes of pepper. Light tannins on the finish. Quite drinkable. Not the best Nero d'Avola that I've ever had, but good for the price point!

Newly bottled stuff. Think this is a TJ’s staple. Smells juicy. Hint of gravel too. Flavors are fruit driven with a healthy acid streak. Cherry. This has plenty of cherry. Good juice for the price.

Astringent red fruit and fully-bloomed roses on the nose, ruby in color and slightly opaque. Strawberries, a hint of cherry tartness, pepper and spice, slightly drying and tannic on the palate. It's got some punch but it's not heavy, more moderate in body with a smooth finish.

This is a delicious wine.

Cherry and berry notes. Smooth, not very dry. Very drinkable. It’s a good wine for only paying $6 at Trader Joe’s
