Nun Vinya Dels Taus Xarello

Great chardonnay-like density. Green coconut, high wire, green fruited. Some taffy and white pepper. Really pretty and just entering drinking window.

Savory and bright energy, crisp aromatics and flavors. Quite wooden and wonderfully so. If I were blinded on this and I wasn’t being sharp, I might just called this white burgundy. The nuance of tropical florals and fruit twang is there, but well integrated into the wood spice and the amazing texture. Long and regal.

2007. A bit of tropical fruit. Nicely mineral (flinty). Broad texture. Fresh and silky.

Cool old xarello.

Still holding up but the oak dominates.

Exotic spice, citrus and pear, flint, could pass as white burgundy 😍🔥👍
