Chianti's Neapolitan ancestor is one of Italy's more perfect food wines, and this is an excellent example, with fresh cherry and black pepper and a cedar note that knits it all together nicely. Never mind the tears of Christ stories and of course it's great with pizza and red sauced pastas, to see how far this goat can fly, try it with a traditional English breakfast.
