Watson Ranch Napa Valley Chardonnay

Superb. Not too much nose. But beautiful light body. Bracing acidity. Very well balanced. Good tannin structure. Drying in a pretty way.

Drinking this up. Not at the top of the what he usually does. See my July notes same vintage. Or? this is just not my favorite vineyard/terroir.

Good but could not beat the 2019 vintage. No formal notes. 12.7%. In my book the best Cali/Burgh maker ever.

Simply superb! 12.4 Napa Chard? Hell yeah. Smooth, silken, near-perfection. Ripe pear, melon, and dark, black apple. Great acid-fruit balance…soft, flirty fruit. What a pure pleasure with gratin and Smoking Goose rum soaked ham….

White flowers, peach, saline, dense and long 💥

12.4%. Apply nose. Enfield’s whites are fantastic and this is no exception. A Napa Chard at this % level😱. Just 780 bottles made. A great wine. Needs to settle. Give it 5 years. There is a hidden power in this one. Meyer lemon, white peach, camomile, herbs. Quite closed. A brilliant Cali Card. A winemaker to watch getting better every year.
