Walla Walla Valley Syrah

Good effort, love the no/low oak impact, and alc in balance

This was beautiful, though I'd love to have seen it in a few more years.

This Syrah brought it!!!! Meat, blood, game, soy, graphite, pencil lead, minerality. All for little dough. Such a fantastic example of wines made from The Rocks region of Walla Walla. Old world charm with New World fruit. I am kicking myself for not having bought more of this.

Ripe Italian plums, Cascade huckleberries and red and green peppercorns, but not the black ones. Yeah, it was that specific. :D

Great and classic Syrah nose of meat, black fruit and green pepper, but the palate is flabby, hot and unfocused with a cloying finish. A drinkable cocktail wine, but lacks old world balance. Please someone show me a wine from Washington that doesn't just frustrate or annoy me, because this about the 30th WA wine in a row that I've actively disliked.

Medium ruby, sugar snap peas, underripe papaya, red bell peppers, quail, mozzarella cheese, strawberry, vanilla, bread.

Excellent. Give it a half an hour of air and us comes together beautifully.

Totally quaffable.

Medium+ body. Lovely purple color. Prunes, pepper on the nose. Silky and full on the palate. Pretty remarkable wine for the price. One of my favorites.
