White peach, lemon pith, Sea Salt, Cerignola Olive, smoke. As savory and mineral as this may be, it has a deliciousness that makes it enjoyable to sip. There is a phenolic backbone, and although partially skin macerated this doesnโ€™t come across as an orange wine. Rather, it is a powerful white that has incredible pairing options. Could really stand up to strong flavors at the table. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ

Place: Tenerife (Canary Island), Spain from Yconde-Daute-Isora appellation.
๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ธ
Vigneron: Envinate (Cuvee Viticole)
-
Grape: Listรกn Blanco; Vintage: 2017
-
Color: Deep gold to amber around the rim. Why is the color gold for a young wine? *** I donโ€™t know, maybe skin contact, or oxidative wine making style? @brianmcclinticms @envinatewine
-
Nose: Not floral, not citrus, spices (cinnamon, fennel seeds)
๐Ÿฅ‚
Taste: Good structure, soft acidity throughout, sweet spice taste, interesting that itโ€™s packing quite a bit of tannins for a white wine from mid-palate through long finish.

Lovely with gambas and aioli, a bright and shinning wine, loads of vulcano notes.

Pale gold. Loamy earth & petrol aromas. Medium full body on the palate, with citrus / lemon zest. Clean mineral saline finish. Excellent.

My favorite of the Envinate lineup. So well balanced. Some VA but complementary. There is texture and depth - layered aromas of salty peaches, dried apricots, and smokey cantaloupe. Acidic, alive.

When first opened, it was quite tart and seemed rather "green." However, after about 30 minutes of air, this really rounded into top form. By far one of the "saltiest" wines I've ever enjoyed in such a wonderful way. Delicate stone fruits, white peach. Fantastic island wine.
