Nutty and salty with some heat and spice on the palate. Would be better a bit more chilled.

What a fantastic sherry. A rich full texture, crushed hazelnuts that lingers on the finish. My favourite oloroso to date for the price

Mar 19th, 2017nutty and sweet on the nose. Palate is drier, less sweet, w a touch of the salt of the sea. Full bodied. Went spectacularly well with spicy Indian food. I think it worked better w a bit of chill. At room temp, the heat becomes more dominant. But it also brings out the underlying acidity.
This is only my second Oleroso. I like these wines.
