Nutty and salty with some heat and spice on the palate. Would be better a bit more chilled.

#heritage delicious, bone dry and full of black tea and desiccated citrus

Nothing better to nurse one through a cold. A nip of Oloroso makes the pain go away.

Dried figs, honey, nuts on nose and palate. Dry with full body.

Nose: almonds, honey, raisins
Taste: nut roast, mushrooms
Strong tannin

What a fantastic sherry. A rich full texture, crushed hazelnuts that lingers on the finish. My favourite oloroso to date for the price

nutty and sweet on the nose. Palate is drier, less sweet, w a touch of the salt of the sea. Full bodied. Went spectacularly well with spicy Indian food. I think it worked better w a bit of chill. At room temp, the heat becomes more dominant. But it also brings out the underlying acidity.

This is only my second Oleroso. I like these wines.

Much sweeter in the nose than on the tongue. Dry with prune/raisin, walnut and coffee.
