Deep Ruby with pronounced aromas of ripe black and red fruits with smoky, earthy & meaty notes. On the palate blackberry, currants and blueberry flavors with notes of baking spice, floral and sweet vanilla. Lively acidity with firm approachable tannins, well integrated, long finish ending with rich fruit, cacao and spice character. Very Nice!

Dec 6th, 2019Ripe black cherry, cinnamon and chocolate. Unfortunately I fucked up and broke the cork and had to decant. The first glasses poured were sound but the oxygen beat up the old man pretty badly and the second glass wasn’t nearly as beautiful.

Classic. I'm always happy when I open an Elyse and their Syrah always delivers. So good w skirt steak and chimichurri.
