Holbrook Mitchell Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

Deep Ruby, rich, complex, loaded with ripe berry fruits, currant, spice and cedar aromas. On the palate blackberry and cherry flavors with notes of pepper, smoke and sweet herbs. Soft smooth tannins, long ending with an earthy smoky cedar character. Tasting Sample!

Currants and kirsch. Dry wet tobacco. Moss and mineral nose. A mouth watering acidity keeps me going back. Reminds me of a cru Graves.

Deep garnet red with a light ruby hue. A bit savory on the attack of the nose, almost gamey and leather. Followed up with some black currants and minerality. Medium plus acidity (6.5/10) and full bodied. Plush attack and on the top of your tongue with a bit of oak flavors, red berries, cassis and dark baking spices. Long finish. Drink till 2030. (89+)

Very enjoyable. Most pop and pour wine of the night. I’ve heard Elyse has excellent Zinfandels. This cab was dark and luscious...mint, blueberries, blackberries, thyme, dirty funk to it.

Mostly Cab Sav w/ Cab Franc, Merlot & Petit Verdot.

Enjoyed this Cabernet from CA. I am an old world 🍷 girl at ❤️, but this one was delicious for $45.

Blackberry jam/cobbler, cloves, licorice, gun smoke, minerality, lavender. Lovely wine.
