Quite deep lemon yellow . Touch of burnt rubber on the nose and then spiced bread , bouillon cube , slightly herbal undertones. On the palate quite rich and round but with balanced acidity , with some spiced lemon , baked apple, quince and herbal vanilla tinged notes on the finish . A little short perhaps , and misses just a touch more freshness . Drink now and over the next couple of years .
