A Wagner family project now owned and run by Joe Wagner. Name refers to the floods that brought seismic change to the Willamette Valley a millennia ago. Ruby with fresh dark berry fruit aromas and some subtle spice notes. Rich blackberry and cherry flavors with cacao, spice and hints of earthiness. Lingering finish, full rich tannins, nice mouthfeel, ending with a smoky earth character. Tasting Sample.

Oct 8th, 2023Impressive, more muscular than willamette valley - reminded me of Siduri. Fairly hi octane, super concentrated, rich style. Sturdy tannins and gobs of fruit & PN character. Darker fruit like black cherry & boysenberry, some sassafras and spice. Very sexy and smooth. Balanced & well done
