sour cherry, raspberry. medium body with decent acidity. Some earth and spice. Food wine.

Med + body with excellent concentration and oak integration. Big red cherry flavours with dark plum and cocoa. Solid structure. Really well done.

Not bad but this is a big and extracted style of Barbera. Higher level of oak usage than typical, so the fruit characteristics are a bit more secondary than preferred. Not for me, as the acidity wasn’t higher to match. Not flabby, but kind of reverse typicity of higher tannin, lower acidity than normal.

A little too much taste of alcohol but will probably improve after airing. Taste otherwise is very good
