Very clean nose, mild fruit such as cherry makes it approachable. Light feel in the mouth (with a cab in mind) but plenty of flavor. There is nothing sweet to put you off, but cherry and plum are primary favors. There is a mild cedar touch on the finish that lingers. The French oak was used perfectly to keep the tannins very minimal and smooth. Overall this wine is very enjoyable and sets itself apart from the “expected” heavy tannic Napa Cabs.
