Classic Cuvée Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

One of the best 2017s I’ve tasted. I really haven’t been impressed by the 17s but this is fresh, peppery in a more Pauillac style.

Not as powerful as a lot of Napa Bordeaux blends, but makes up for it with subtlety and smoothness.

Big, but not as overpowering as some Napa Cabs. Alcohol below 15% makes a big difference. Ripe and ready to drink today, but plenty of structure to age.

Big and bold with strong tannin and could have aged but I was thirsty and it’s delicious. Strong fruit and spicy finish

Took quite a while to fully reveal itself. Now having breathed at 8000 ft for 24 hours it has opened up beautifully. Casis, vanilla, oak, and cardamom all in blissful harmony.

Patience will be rewarded but I'm a philistine: drank the whole bottle. No apologies... his is a great, powerful blend of Cabs

Needs more time to rest. Still good when opens up. Earthy and rich.
