Jan 12th, 2019Significant difference in profile over 30 mins. Starts off with big cranberry and a tart finish then evolves to a mature red fruit and earth overtones - significant improvement in balance over time - can't wait for next Friday to pair with duck and foie gras!

Apr 21st, 2019Killer Wine Night. Lineup of 17 wines. Tasted blind. Theme was Old World Killer “B” (the letter “B” has to be the first letter in one of the proper nouns in the wine e.g., region, varietal, type, winery name, etc.)
Wine 10. Burnt orange. Caramel nose. Eucalyptus. Leather, tar, mocha. One of my faves and the wine of the night for many. Didnt think it was as old as the color showed. It was my contribution. Bought 4 for my son’s birth year. Was a special night so popped one to check. I’m quite optimistic.
