Javier brought this to our dinner party in 1/22. It's fruit was understated tho flavorful and the spice had a bit of bite. Overall smooth. I liked it more than Pete.

A great bargain from Trader Joe’s. Lots of black currant, blackberry, and dark plum fruit. A little barnyard funk makes it interesting. Acidity is medium strong and a little hot. Not strongly tannic, though.

Perfectly ripened, with black fruits, black pepper, cowhide & suede notes. Couldn't ask for more from a $12 impulse buy of one of my favorite varietals at the butcher counter.
