12 Year Old Rum

Amber. On the nose molasses, butter, vanilla and smoke. Herbs and sweet spices. Mellow.

A well-balanced and enjoyable quaff that awakens the pirate in me. Hits all the right notes with softness - a feminine rum if you permit. Skoll!

Of course at a Rum Bar with 450 different worldly rums in their repertoire I find a new favourite.
This has so much happiness in the glass and mouth it's hard not to love!

A wall of cedar coated in turbinado crystals, sweet tea, vanilla mist, wintergreen and wildflower honey up the two-hole. Really a gorgeous array. Orange blossom honey, pine nut, rock candy, lemongrass, cocoanut, cocoa powder, soft vanilla, sweet tobacco, coffee candy, brickle notes, squash blossom, poppy flower, and the worlds most perfect raisin. As delightfully indulgent as drifting carelessly down a clean river in spring and being enveloped in an endless array of budding flora!

Complex, with lots of tobacco, cola, and bourbon notes coming through. Pair with desserts.

First one empty. Dry and complex. Who needs whiskey?

First rum I’ve ever liked, I’m 40 years old and whenever i drank rum I always gagged and felt the burning from the sins of a thousand years of hell burning inside my face, throat, and chess. This rum, however, felt like a hot cup of tea during a fall thunder storm. Perfection!
