The fall months are extremely frantic at the North Pole. Not only is Santa getting ready for Christmas but it's also the time he harvests and makes his wine for next Christmas. This year he is especially excited because the grapes came from vineyards that Comet and Cupid particularly seemed to enjoy. All summer long The Eight Tiny Reindeer watch and wait for the grapes to grow to their optimum maturity. Santa knows that when his reindeer are smiling it's time to pick the grapes. It seems that happy reindeer make really good wine!

'Twas two nights before Christmas, and I've arrived at Mom's house. As she poured me this wine, I was quiet as a church mouse. /// The nose was like 💩 and the flavor was too, but mom gave it to me - so what was I to do? /// Down the hatch it went, as fast as I could. My throat dried up badly, like I was I gnawing on wood. /// I smiled and said yum, praying the alcohol was full throttle. And then I started crying...she pulled out a second bottle! /// Gotta love mom, her heart was in the right place, but her selection of wine: a bad slap in the face. /// To my friends on delectable, I hope you avoid similar fright. Wishing you all very happy holidays and a very good night.

Oye vey!!! Ok....got this guy on a lark because a woman who is a way bigger fan of reindeer than a connoisseur of wine loved the bottle. "It's christmassy" she says...so despite my reservations and serious distrust and floating gently on the total wine cashiers recommendation it was "good". I plopped down my 7 bucks!!! So...smells like plums and blackberries and something medicinal.. first hit to the palette is straight up plumy jam and not the nice kind you spread on toast..the wierd sickening sweet kind... followed immediately by a cough syrupy back palette which to my horror is an insanely long finish. If possible skip Christmas on this one...you will thank me for it...bah humbug!!!
