This was nice, but after it sat for a while it got very sweet and metallic. Drink in one sitting (with a friend maybe?)

A wine we received from our engagement party. Sweet at first, and too the point the rest of the way through. I will definitely revisit!

Super sale at Save-Mart. Classic label. Looks like this winery is the big boy in the eponymous Edna Valley AVA. Smells pretty nice. Hint of oak-vanilla sauce, but mostly it’s berries and plums with a hint of soil. Flavor is also just enough to overcome that CA vanilla-fruit soup trap that merlot, cab and some blends fall so easy into. Has some zap and zing. Also a bit of bite from both acid and tannin. It’s a passable party wine. Holds its own for what it is.

Черные ягоды, уголь, чуть джемово, ваниль. Полно, сладковато, много дуба, но аккуратного. Гарь, перец. Хорошие танины. Ладно скроено.

Excellent medium bodied red. BlackBerry, black cherry, smoke, cedar. Nice depth and not overwhelming with the tannins.
