Actually ‘Central Coast’ Merlot says the label. Nice dark color. Plum. Aroma is meaty with a hint of fresh tilled loam to go with the berry-cherry-plum compote on the stove. Flavors are nice. Fresh dark tree fruits and some lovely pomegranate-black cherry juice. Herbs and fall spices too. This is Merlot that drinks a lot better than many at higher price points. Chewy, complex and intriguing stuff from a thousands of cases made and sold wine.
