A solo Passover Wine, if not shared Zoom style. Has a bouncy, fruity style but love this vintner, who brings in the alcohol at 13%. Still, somehow a bit somber in our compartmentalized Zoom land, & reflected in this makers restraint.

Apr 9th, 2020My second rodeo with Mr. St John, glad I am here: a deeper dive into black fruits than his Cote Du Rhône homage, & a more generous palate. Still all in balance, a restrained hand, but the terroir speaks through his hand, amen. Grenache, some Tempranillo, some Mourvedre, and some Graciano. Decanted about 1/2 hr. Delectable allows me to name only my local tag sale but not my town? Whaadup @Delectable Wine ?

Apr 13th, 2019Fresh raspberry, rose water, and green banana, attributable to whole cluster fermentation. Mourvèdre, Tempranillo, and Grenache equal parts. Spices, herbs, and slight earthy notes.

Dec 2nd, 2018Really beautiful. Held up and evolved beautifully over 4 days. Red fruit and spice with a nice earthy base. Drinking pretty well now but will probably benefit from some aging.

1 person found it helpfulJan 18th, 2018Light-ish color in the glass. Nose of fresh raspberries and strawberries. A little on the sweeter side of dry. Short finish. Took awhile to open up and then could notice some spicy undertones.
Overall, went great with steak fajitas, but this one fell a little flat for me. I was expecting more...
