Venezia Giulia Chardonnay

This is next level Chardonnay. Don't judge a bottle by its varietal. Orange blossom, white pear and well integrated minerality. Outstanding!

I really dug this bottle.

Orange oily Chard with walnut overtones the likes of which I've never tasted. Maybe a little oxidized in a wonderful way.

Nice pineapple fruit great balance of butter lees contact and nice oak background

Really awesome and restrained use of oak. Fun notes of marshmallow, ripe pear, melon. Acidity holds everything together and makes for a clean wine

Very Burgundian from a producer known for orange wines

So corked.

Bit of a muted nose, soft lemon peel, tarragon.

The nutty caramel / hazelnut towards the end notes are coming through, though it’s subtle. I quite like the subtlety. Like a shawl draping the tongue.

Persimmony. Though, it’s too subtle like water, hard to stand up to food
