Mild citrus and subtle wooly elements on the nose. Palate is medium plus body, off dry and finishes sharply. Well made if a little simple at the moment.

10/10/24 ALX Best of Virginia wine class. 100% Petit Manseng. Loved this one! Extremely tart and citrusy, light and refreshing. One of my (and Erin the wine guru!) favorite VA wines!

My first Virginia wine. Petit Manseng (and a small amount of Chardonnay and Pinot Gris) from different vineyards around Madison, in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in central Virginia. Rich, creamy. Baked apple and tropical fruit notes. Great with food

Mineral driven, crispy Chard, my preferred style, impressive from Virginia.

Very drinkable and better than some single varietals they have.

Really impressive biodynamic, skin-contact petit manseng from Virginia. I hadn’t anticipated stringing those words together. There’s enough wilder aspects and mouthfeel richness to pair well with funky cheeses, along with a surprisingly bracing run of acidity on the finish.

This held up to what I remembered! Tart with notes of lemon, some light florals and held up to our spicy dinner no problem. An enjoyable early summer drink!
