Rock solid, textbook Gewurz at a bargain price. Nose has lychee and rose water, a bit of dried apricot, and a musky, slightly earthy note. Loads of Gewurz spice and a surprisingly level of stony minerality in the mouth. Lots of ripe pear fruit. Off-dry (feinherb style). Full bodied. Satisfying.

I hadn’t had Alsace Gewurtz in a while. This one delivered all the floral and spicy I expected. Thanks Jonas!

Pretty, accurate aromas and flavors but quite sweet and broad. On the flabby side. Not sure what to do with this.

Nov 9th, 2019Can’t remember if this is my second or third bottle of this over the last few years but it never disappoints. Nose isn’t shy with the musky, earthy, lychee nut and sweet pear scents. Sweet fruit cocktail on the first hit, but then some nice minerality and acids enter on the off dry finish. Amazing for $15.

Jan 15th, 2019Got 5 of these super cheap from Last Bottle about a year ago. I have always loved Alsace Gewurz. It’s the wine I turn to when I want something just for me and fuck everyone else. This one is textbook, with musky pear and lychee nut aromas. Off-dry with decent acids. Bit of minerality in mid palate. Great value.

Lighter and more precise in the mouth than the nose suggests. Off-dry. Clean, long finish with some nice minerally notes and decent acids. Fantastic value at $15.
