A blend of 53% Cab Franc, 40% Cab Sauv & 7% Petit Verdot, aged for 18 months in French oak, only 381 cases of this gem were made, showing aromas of berry fruits and earthy spice. On the palate of this ‘12 blend (different each year) cherry and black raspberry flavors, cedar, cacao and an elegant lift of spice from the heavy Cab Franc %. Fine soft tannins that opened nicely, lively balanced acidity, lingering ending with fine earthy spice character. Nice value!
