2011. Very young, certainly, but great with dinner. 2 hour decant and this would be a lot of fun. Slightly modern but when you don't have a bottle of Monprivato, what the hell.

The 2011 Pira Barolo's are aromatic and elegant. Another fantastic vintage. The Mosconi has firm tannic structure

clay based soil...which means this wine get meaty and fruitness from the soil. V: very deep cherry color N: red cherry, cherry, cherry with med plus tannin, bit of irons. P: better drink now!
