Dude.. New world nose, black fruit, peony, vanilla, slight black pepper. Palate is a different story.. Speaks of place. Has the fruit from the nose bust also a wet rock and savory meat character. The thing that blows my mind is the acidity that is singing in this. Could go for another decade.

Tighter nose with darker fruits, charcoal and blood. Weightier, with higher ripeness to the fruit. Tannin still present and showing the youngest of the three.

1996 vintage. Some prominent cherry notes along with tobacco. Light-medium body. Top of the pops right now and don’t see it improving but the summit is pretty darn special. Got the stuffing to go another 5-8 years at this level. 3.24.23.

Was very excited to try this and it did not disappoint. Needs a 1-2 hour decant for sure, still has plenty of years left (though no need to wait). So pure with lots of dark red fruit and earth. Finish is several minutes. Great acid provides lift and precision at the end. Perfect with some good pork chops. Really nice.

Typical Syrah - bacon and violet. Very concentrated. Beautiful.

Beautifully resolved but still young. Oak present. Toasted meaty blue fruit and a touch of iodine. Years ahead. Yum
